It's much more of a chore to explore than Fallen Order, which is why it just falls short of making our best Star Wars game list. All that lies at the end of the road is yet more jackets, beards and lightsaber parts you never get to see. It's still a great sequel to Fallen Order, and fans of that game will no doubt have a good time with it, but Survivor's 'bigger is better' approach to sequel making never quite succeeds at giving you good enough reasons to explore its huge, sprawling expanses. You also won't find some of the more recent Star Wars game releases on this list, and that includes Jedi Survivor.
They all deserve honourable mentions, though (as captured in our 2019 video version of this list below), and we'd still recommend checking them out if you're looking for a deeper, more complete look at Star Wars PC games. With the focus of our best Star Wars games being on what we'd recommend playing today, that means a lot of the great Star Wars games from yesteryear, such as Dark Forces, X-Wing Alliance, TIE Fighter, and Jedi Academy have been stripped out.
